Long-time no write...

Many things have happened since last posting to my blog. Let's play catch-up. First the current news and you can skip the rest of the travelogue if you wish.

Hemochromatosis: After 3 more months of phlebotomies, my ferritin level is down to an astounding 990. Orders have been written for 1X week until 2/18/09. I'm tolerating the phlebotomies quite well - tired for 2-3 days afterward following a normal day of work, but not out of service. Everything else is normal. The graph is quite impressive.

Polycythemia Vera: No changes for now.
